Come To Me (Matthew 11: 28-30)
April 18th, 2025
Hi Beloved,
How has your week been? I am so glad to be writing to you again; I also would love to hear from you, write to me one of these days. I will be more than glad to read your letter. This week, I bring to you a word of comfort.
Matthew 11:28-30 EASY: [28] Come to me all of you who are tired. You are like people who have worked for a long time. You are like people who have carried heavy things. Come to me. If you do that, you will find a place to rest. [29] Do what I teach you to do. Listen to my message and learn from me what is true. I am very kind and I do not make myself important. I will help you. Then you will have peace in your mind. [30] I will not tell you to do things that are too difficult. I will not tell you to carry anything that is too heavy for you.’
Have you ever felt so tired and weary that you just want to escape the weight of it all? Have you ever gotten to a point in your life where it seems like you can’t go on because the happenings around feels so exhausting?
What if I tell you that you never have to get to that point? I am a loving father and I am willing and ready to bear these burdens for you. I sent my son, Jesus Christ, to the world to die for your sins and redeem you from the weights of the world. I then made an invitation to “come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”. Why then should you bear these burdens by yourself?
Instead of carrying these heavy weights, give them to me in exchange for my rest. Stop carrying the weights of the world, embrace the rest that I have made available for you. In my rest, you will find peace and comfort for your soul.
“How do I embrace this rest?”, you may ask. Lay it all bare before me and learn from me how to live your life; embrace that which I tell you to do and do it because my ways are pure and not difficult. I will only give to you that which I know you can do, through the help of the Holy Spirit of course.
So my dear, stop carrying those heavy weights of the world and embrace rest in me. My rest has been made especially for you.
Always remember, I LOVE YOU WITH AN EVERLASTING LOVE.
With love,
Abba Love
